1. Service Description
FoodRisk Watch provides email notifications about food safety alerts by aggregating publicly available information from the RASFF Portal. This is an informational service only and does not constitute official food safety advice.
2. Data Source and Accuracy
- Alert data is sourced from the publicly accessible RASFF Portal API operated by the European Commission.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided.
- Data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors introduced during processing.
- Always verify alert information through official channels before taking any action.
3. No Legal or Regulatory Standing
The alerts and notifications provided by FoodRisk Watch:
- Have no legal implications or regulatory authority
- Cannot be used as evidence of compliance or non-compliance
- Do not constitute official notification under any food safety regulation
- Should not replace official food safety monitoring systems
- Are provided for informational purposes only
